TYPE 3 - RESERVED, CREATIVE, CARING, & ORGANIZED
Type 3 individuals are reserved and tend to work best in an indoor
work setting not requiring face-to-face interaction with large
numbers of people. They can work for extended periods of time on a
project and maintain good concentration. Numerous interruptions
can be annoying because it breaks their concentration and attention
to detail. They do not make hasty decisions and find satisfaction
in understanding the idea and purpose behind the job they are
doing. They may find it difficult to remember names and faces but
have a good memory for detail and facts. They sometimes find it
easier to express themselves in writing rather than verbalizing
their feelings. They are very dependable and have sound judgment.
On the job, Type 3 individuals are the creative problem solvers.
They enjoy new challenges and learning new skills but dislike
performing the same routine tasks repeatedly. They work best
during bursts of inspiration and have the ability to come to a
conclusion quickly. They are very patient with complicated
situations but sometimes make errors regarding specific facts.
They have a tendency to follow their inspirations and intuition,
good or bad.
When working with fellow employees, they are concerned about other
people's feelings and enjoy pleasing them. They like working in
harmonious surroundings, and their efficiency may suffer when
conflicts arise. Their decisions are often influenced by other
peoples's personal likes and dislikes. They tend to be sympathetic
and dislike giving people unpleasant news. They are easy to work
with and function best with occasional praise.
Type 3 individuals like to complete projects on time and may become
irritated if their present project must be interrupted for a more
urgent one. However, they experience much personal satisfaction
when a job is completed or they reach a satisfactory conclusion
regarding a person, situation or thing.
